The story behind the build
My firm renders residential interiors in 3ds Max + V-Ray, and client revisions used to mean overnight waits. The 9950X with 128GB of RAM cut an average still render from 40 minutes to under 9.
The ProArt board's 10GbE port talks directly to our office NAS, and dual USB4 made drive transfers painless. I went with a 4080 Super over a 4090 because V-Ray scales better with cores than with one massive GPU — the CPU is the render engine here.
The 2kVA UPS is the quiet hero. Dhaka's power cuts were corrupting 4-hour render queues; now a cut just switches to battery and the machine keeps going.

- →For CPU renderers, put every spare taka into cores and RAM before touching the GPU.
- →Always pair a workstation with a proper UPS — a corrupt render queue costs more than the UPS does.
